Our School Day

A typical school week at Manor Mead  is 30 hours.  This is made up from a combination of formal lessons, breaks and lunchtimes and informal sessions at the start of the morning and afternoon. Class timetables will be different depending on the specific needs of the pupils . School registers close at 9.30am.

A typical week will look like this:

 

Lower School, Shepperton

09.00am Pupils arrive
09.00- 09.25am Transition from transport, communication, morning  work and registration
10.35am - 10.55am Break time
12.00pm - 12.30pm  Lunch time
12.30pm - 1.00pm Indoor Structured Play
1.00pm Outdoor play
3.00pm Transition to transport and Pupil's depart

 Upper School, Shepperton

09.00am Pupil's arrive
09.00am - 09.25am Transition from transport, communication, morning  work and registration
10.20am - 10.35am Break time
12.00pm - 1.00pm Lunch time
12.30pm - 1.00pm Outdoor Play
1.00pm Indoor Structured Play
3.00pm Transition to transport and Pupil's depart

9.00am Pupil arrival
9.05 - 9.30am Session 1 Registration, Morning Movement, Sensory Regulation Activities, PSHE (Zones of Regulation)
9.30am Session 2 - Formal lessons 
10.15am Morning break - Supervised play and snack time
10.45am Session 3 - Formal lessons
12 noon Lunchtime break- Dinner, supervised structured indoor play and outside play
1.30pm Session 4 - Sensory Regulation Activities, PSHE (Zones of Regulation)
1.40pm Session 5- Formal lessons
2.50pm End of day procedures
3.00pm Pupils depart
